Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 August 2026
Antitafaha (“we”, “us”, the “Service”) provides a curated blocklist of
accounts and a browser extension that hides matching accounts across
supported platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok). This
policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is handled. It covers
both the admin website and the browser extension.
The short version. The browser extension does not track
your browsing. What you watch, follow, or visit never leaves your device.
The extension only downloads a public blocklist and hides matching
accounts locally in your browser.
1. The browser extension
-
No browsing data is collected or transmitted. The
extension reads page links locally to decide what to hide. This
processing happens entirely in your browser; no page contents,
history, or activity are sent to us or to any third party.
-
What it downloads. On a schedule, the extension
fetches the current blocklist from our server
(
/v1/list/<platform>). This is a one-way download of
a public list. The request carries no personal identifiers.
-
What it stores. Your settings (e.g. hide/blur/tag
preference, per-platform toggles) and the downloaded blocklist are kept
in your browser’s local extension storage. They stay on your device and
are removed when you uninstall the extension.
-
Permissions. Host access to the supported platforms is
used solely to hide blocklisted accounts on their pages. Access to our
own domain is used only to download the blocklist.
- No analytics, ads, cookies, or third-party trackers.
2. The admin website
The website at this domain is a restricted administration panel for
authorized users who curate the blocklist. For those accounts we process:
-
Account details — an email address and a password.
Passwords are stored only as a salted cryptographic hash; we never store
them in plain text.
-
Session data — a signed token (JWT) held in your
browser to keep you logged in. It is not shared with third parties.
-
Blocklist content you create — the platform, account
key, and reason for each entry, plus the original text you pasted, kept
for auditing bad entries.
The admin website is not intended for the general public and does not
create accounts for visitors.
3. How we use information
- To operate the Service and keep the blocklist available to clients.
- To authenticate administrators and secure the admin panel.
- To diagnose and fix incorrect blocklist entries.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Sharing
We do not share personal information with third parties except where
required by law, or with infrastructure providers strictly necessary to
host the Service, acting on our behalf.
5. Data retention
Administrator account data is kept for as long as the account exists.
Extension data lives only on your device and is under your control — clear
it any time by removing the extension. You may request deletion of an
administrator account by contacting us.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or
delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise them, contact us
using the details below.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children and is not intended to collect
personal information from them.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be
reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
